During the week when I leave for work, Layne is usually still sleeping, so we don't get to see each other much in the mornings, let alone eat breakfast together. But when the weekends come, so do the pancakes. Layne has become quite the pancake connoisseur, practicing every Saturday and sometimes Sunday mornings. Pancakes have never been my favorite breakfast, but Layne says "Maybe if I make them enough, you'll learn to love them" and I think it is working! He ventured this past weekend to make chocolate chip pancakes and even tried to make mine a Mickey Mouse!
It looks pretty delicious, don't ya think? It was. My grumbly tummy loved it!
